The Formal Induction Ceremony of the new Professional Members (Academicians) of the World Academy of Ceramics was held on the occasion of the Inaugural Session of CMCEE14.

The Session chaired by Mrityunjay Singh took place at the Budapest Congress Center on August 19 morning.

The new Academicians who were present at the ceremony received the WAC diplomas from Mrityunjay Singh.

Bikramjit Basu, Geoff L. Brennecka, Manoj K. Choudhary, Ho-Yong Lee and John C. Mauro addressed their deep apologies for not being able to attend the ceremony.

Also Prof. M. Stanley Whittingham, who was made an Honorary Member of the Academy, was not able to attend.
